Fuji NXT III Placement Machine parameters
Fuji Scalable Placement Platform NXT 3rd generation is the latest evolution of its scalable
modular mounting platform, the NXT series. The NXT III expands on the concepts of the NXT II
to achieve new levels of productivity and placing quality. A faster XY robot and faster tape feeders,
as well as a newly developed “flying vision” parts camera, mean increased placing ability for all
part sizes and types. The new H24 high-speed head achieves 35,000 CPH per module, a 35%
improvement from the fastest speed of the NXT II. The NXT III can handle the next generation of
components heading for the market - 03015 mm parts. And by improving machine rigidity and
further refining its independent servo control and vision recognition technology, it has achieved
the industry-leading placing accuracy for small chip parts of ±25 μm. The GUI interface combined
with a touchscreen panel to improve usability. The NXT III inherits the flexibility
of the NXT Series, can be flexibility configured to match the production conditions.

By loading the newly developed H24G head on the NXT III, 008004″ (0.25 x 0.125 mm)
components can be supported without any change to the specifications of the machine
(speed: 35,000 cph, accuracy: ±25 μm). The Intelligent Part Sensor (IPS), which
checks the orientation of parts on the nozzle and ensures that the part
does not remain on the nozzle after placement, is standard on the H24G placement head.
As part sizes get increasingly smaller and more delicate, lower impact forces during
placement are required. The 008004″ (0.25 x 0.125 mm) part nozzles developed
for the H24G head achieve an impact force of no greater than 0.5 N without any
reduction in operation speed.
Orders for the H24G head and 008004″ (0.25 x 0.125 mm) part nozzles will start to be
taken from January 2015.
Fuji is planning to demonstrate the H24G head and 008004″ (0.25 x 0.125 mm) part nozzles
Please drop by the booth to see some 008004″ (0.25 x 0.125 mm)
components being placed at high speed.
